This red caturra, single origin, specialty coffee was grown at our farm in the south of Colombia by mom Ana. The coffee bushes inherited from our grandparents have been producing cherries for more than 50 years surrounded by fruit trees at an altitude of 1,900 meters above sea level. Each cherry is hand-picked by mom Ana who is wary of anyone touching her precious trees. The harvested cherries are taken to our wet mill where we wash them with water from the spring that gushes from our mountainside. Once cleaned and fermented for three days, the cherries are pulped and processed using the honey method. After a month of drying, this coffee is carefully roasted at a medium-light level to bring out its delicate notes of panela, almonds and honeyed pineapple. Enjoy this delicious coffee grown, harvested and processed with mom's love.
