Who is this coffee for?

This coffee has a very classic flavor. If you like some of the dark roasts commonly served in the United States, you will love our Connected Cup! Not only does this coffee support some amazing causes, like the Samburu Youth Education Fund in Kenya, and supports people in Ethiopia during a time of civil war. This coffee has some strong flavor notes of chocolate.

The story behind Connected Cup

Coffee can bring cultures together. While we enjoy amazing coffee in the United States, there are people all over the world working their asses off to produce it. Our mission is to bridge the gap between your cup of coffee and all those who make it possible. From production to consumption, we are all a part of a shared story. by partnering up with Brooke, we are able to help more farmers, get clean water and aid to people in Africa, and spread awareness for her documentary.

Each bag also includes a necklace that was crafted by the Samburu women in northern Kenya. The animal pendants — giraffes, elephants, rhinos, and lions — represent the environment in which these people live. Sales support their financial growth and the community's child education efforts. Each necklace goes toward alleviating poverty and inequity in Africa. Kenya, Ethiopia, Colombia, and the U.S. — all four countries with vastly different cultures, yet a part of the same story and connected by coffee.
